When searching by author, you will need to input the name as "Surname Forename" or just the Surname.

Search Tips

This page allows you to search for specific terms in certain fields such as article title, authors, categories, journal, as well as assigned keywords.

You can search across more than one criteria at a time and combine keywords using the Boolean operators AND, OR given in the drop down menus.

When you combine keywords with "AND" you find all instances in which both keywords appear in the same article. Using "OR" between keywords allows you to find all instances which contain either keyword. Generally using AND between items will give you fewer results than using OR between items.

Multiple words on the same line are interpreted as a phrase, so, for example, if you type "mastitis analysis" in the abstract field, the search finds all articles that include the exact phrase "mastitis analysis". If insufficient results are found, try typing only one of the words, like "mastitis" or use the Boolean search operator for "mastitis" "OR" "analysis".

You can choose to have your search results ranked by "best match", or alphabetically by "title" or "author". If you select "author" please be aware that the order is by surname of the author listed first.
